Welcome to May Dreams Gardens, where the Gardener, Carol, bought a new camera. We garden fairies decided to share some of the images because normally Carol doesn't include a lot of pictures in her posts.Fairy posts are kind of complicated to put together, by the way, which is why we don't post very often. Some of us are typing, some are dictating, others are on the look out for Carol. But we managed to put together a decent post while she was sleeping off a long day in the garden. Here … [Read more...] about Garden Fairies Guest Post: New Camera!
If you go out very early in the morning, before the dew has dried on the grass, you might find a bit of fairy lace, left behind by a garden fairy hurrying off at the first light of dawn to hide beneath the shrubs or in the shade under the leaves of cucumber vines in the vegetable garden.Later in the morning, the lace disappears. The last of the crocuses are blooming now at May Dreams Gardens, with some tulips trying to edge them out and take over the space they've claimed in this garden.Soon, too soon, the crocuses will be a memory and the daffodils and tulips will reign in the garden. Someone told me that March would have wings and fly by and she was right! While I've noted before that this spring is taking its sweet time, suddenly, as I prepare to leave the garden for a few days, blooms seem to be popping up all over … [Read more...] about Now Some Flowers Are Blooming!
Hi! It’s us garden fairies again. Carol isn’t too happy about the snow and she has started working on her taxes, so we thought this might be a good time for us to do a guest post.Hopefully she’ll appreciate our thoughtfulness and not be upset that once again we’ve taken over her blog.Remember how she said that African violet’s were your grandmother’s houseplants and she made up that rule that no one should have more than one African Violet for every ten years of their age? And she was all smug … [Read more...] about Garden Fairies Guest Post: African Violets
