Garden Bloggers’ Bloom Day – May 2025

Welcome to Garden Bloggers’ Bloom Day for May 2025.

Here in my USDA Hardiness Zone 6a garden in central Indiana, it is well and truly spring heading into summer.

There are blooms everywhere you look and if you don’t look often, you might risk missing something in bloom!

But don’t look too closely or you might see some weeds too.

So where are all the flower pictures you ask?

This month, rather than post all of the pictures here on my blog, I made a little video of the blooms, which you can see here or on YouTube.

The video is just under 50 seconds so I hope you’ll take the time to view it!

Otherwise you might miss the daisies, roses, wisteria, salvia, alliums, and more that are exploding… I mean blooming… in my garden right now.

But just in case you decide you just don’t have less than a minute to view some pretty flowers, I put a picture of my ‘Bartzella’ peonies just starting to bloom on this post so you could get the idea that it is assuredly spring.
