A webinar about how I self-publish

May 26, 2021 By Carol 1 Comment

On Thursday, June 3rd at 7:00 PM ET, I’m going to do a webinar for GardenComm to explain how I self-publish my books and how you could do the same.

The official title is “How to Self-Publish Your Book with Carol Michel.” For GardenComm members, the cost is $20. For non-members, it’s $30. Register here. (Really, that’s a good deal for the cost of between four and six annual flowers in those 4-inch pots.)

If you can’t attend on Thursday, June 3rd at 7:00 PM ET, you can still register and then listen to the recording later.

Now you are probably thinking, I’m just a reader of this blog, Carol! I don’t think I’ll ever publish a gardening book. Well, good news! The information I’m going to share applies to any book. A memoir, a family history, a novel, a cookbook, even a children’s book!

I’m going to share all kinds of self-publishing secrets, my lessons learned, my tips and tricks, as someone who has self-published five, soon to be six, books.

I’m going to sow seeds of encouragement to give you the confidence to self-publish. (I’m sorry I couldn’t help myself with that seed reference.)

If you have any inclination that you are interested in self-publishing, register now.

Or, if you really want to publish a book someday, but with a traditional publisher, you should still register to attend. Learning how the self-publishing process works will help you be a better author for a traditional publisher.

Still not sure this webinar on self-publishing will be useful to you? Leave a comment or email me and I’ll answer any questions you have about what I’ll be covering.

I’m looking forward to this opportunity to turn over a few spadefuls of good dirt on self-publishing! (I’m sorry. I couldn’t help myself.) Register here.
