This is a view from my hammock yesterday afternoon. I think we are going to have a repeat of this same weather today. Blue skies, cool breezes, a *near* perfect day.
Here’s another view from the hammock. That’s really how blue the sky was yesterday and today. I did nothing to change the focus or color of this picture. Honestly.

For those following the spider post of a few days ago, I am pleased to report that the big hairy one died of natural causes and is now resting peacefully among the branches of the spruce tree.
Sad part is that many of his friends and neighbors are alive and well.
Carol: Your comment from today on the Garden Rant discussion about flags, rights, priviledges, expectations, etc was perfect. It should be the concluding comment but probably won’t.
After all that work with the Chipper shredder, you deserve some hammock time, Carol.
I tried to match your beautiful blue sky with the swatches on one of those color chart sites – the closest [on my screen, anyway] was “Blue Bird”.

Carol I can’t think of anything more relaxing than swinging in a hammock looking at the trees and blue sky..I believe you when you see the bluest sky I have done so myself.
Glad that you got some good hammock time in, Carol. And I’m jealous of your chipper/shredder!
