If we ask nicely, maybe just maybe, April will be nice, but I’m not counting on it.
Carol, those are the prettiest violas I have seen in a long time! Hurray for sprouting peas and boo to the frost last night. But I don’t think it hurt the lilac buds here. I will put in my plea along with yours for a kinder and gentler April. 🙂
It does look springlike there! Hope it stays…
Sweet violas.
March isn’t quite going out like a lamb, but at least we survived the snow and cold on Saturday night. So, let’s see — April showers coming to bring May flowers? Hope that doesn’t mean another “floody” spring like last year.
March flew by didn’t it Carol.? New things to see in the garden every day. I too hope the weather decides to let go of winter and enjoy spring as we want to.
Oh, closer that ever to our April Last frost date. We’re sliding into home gardening now!
I am cheering that March is over. It has seemed interminable! Must pick up some violas today! Thanks for the reminder!
The last two years we’ve had big April snowstorms mid-month, so I’m a little nervous ….
March,
Don’t let the door hit you in the rear on the way out.
Ida
I couldn’t have said it better, except I’d have to change Indiana to Illinois, and my Sweet Peas haven’t sprouted yet. Bye, bye, March!
I hear you!
Jen
Yes please be kind…and not too wet! Kim
What a great sentiment. The violas are a delight.
hello carol,
i see your name on most of the blogs i go to and my sis’s/hoe and shovel so i thought i’d come over and say “how do you do?”
love violas and i find them a must in spring and fall. it is fun to see that your peas are coming up. happy last day of march to you.
Yes! Pleas be kind – i.s. no sudden snowshowers!
I hope April is kind to your garden and that it will be nice and let all the snow melt on mine.
