You Must Be On Social Media!
In 2018, I attended a writing workshop where it seemed like half the sessions were about improving your presence on social media. “You’ve gotta be on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to get people to notice you!”
At the time, I was just beginning to read about the other side of social media—the dark side—and wondered if in a few years we’d be attending sessions about how to not let social media dominate your life.
Maybe You Don’t Need Social Media?
Little did I imagine that I’d be the one presenting such a webinar about living without social media. But that’s exactly what I’m doing, along with Dee Nash.
Join us on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at 7 pm EDT for a webinar with the rather long title of An Easy Approach to a Sensible Social Media Presence: How to Keep Social Media Platforms From Taking Over Your Life and Business which we are presenting for GardenComm.
Sign Up to Find Out What Happened
You do not have to be a member to sign up. It costs just $30 for non-members and $20 for members. There will also be a recording available for those who can’t attend the live session or just want to watch again.
Dee and I will talk about why we walked away from social media. We’ll explain what happened to our own blogs, podcasts, etc. when we were no longer promoting them on social media. We’ll also provide advice for using social media without having it take over your life.
Do we go back to social media or stay away from it?
Only one way to find out…
